Editorial: The Air Force That Comes Next About USAF Almanac 2009 A word of caution: Personnel figures that appear in this section in different forms will not always agree (nor will they always agree with figures in major command, field operating agency, and direct reporting unit reports or in the “Guide to USAF Installations Worldwide”) because of different cutoff dates, rounding, differing methods of reporting, or categories of personnel that are excluded in some cases. These figures do illustrate trends, however, and may be helpful in placing force fluctuations in perspective. Visit Air Force Magazine Official Website Airforce-magazine.com features the digital version of Air Force Magazine and original online features, including the Daily Report, a digital news page published weekdays that focuses on information about the US Air Force, airpower, and national defense; In More Depth, short features about airpower and national defense issues and USAF activities; and Data Points, charts on airpower and defense issues. The Web site also features The Document File, a compilation of historical and current airpower and national defense reports and studies; Testimony, Congressional statements by USAF officials; and access to Air Force Magazine’s vast archive of material.
