Art Showcase Magazine, July/August 2007

Magazine - Art Showcase Magazine

Art Showcase Magazine, July/August 2007Art Showcase Magazine (ASM) is dedicated solely to promoting fine artists and venues of fine art in the Southeastern Michigan region. It is published bi-monthly by Lion Tree Communications of Ann Arbor, Michigan and has a circulation of 100,000 copies annually in the Washtenaw, Oakland, Western Wayne and Southern Livingston County areas.

ASM was conceived to enhance awareness and improve public accessibility to and support of fine artists and fine art venues in the Great Lakes region, to educate readers on the most current and interesting local art content, and to serve our business advertisers and community partners through a widely-read, sharply-designed magazine.

We showcase an extraordinary breadth of talented local artists in all forms of visual media with vivid images and artist biographies, enabling artists to reach a more interested audience and to more easily sell their work.

We're also proud to help enrich the lives of our readers through compelling editorial coverage of important artists, fine art venues and other art-related subjects, helping them to further (or discover for the first time) their love of fine art.

Through our partnerships with local organizations such as community art centers, theaters, museums, art groups and educational institutions, as well as our advertisers, Art Showcase Magazine is a meeting place where the communities of the business world and the fine arts come together.

Paradoxically though it may seem, it is none the less true that life imitates art far more than art imitates life. -Oscar Wilde
