SPRING…A TIME TO BECOME A BETTER YOU!

We all make choices in our lives. Lately, I’ve been giving much thought to what works in my life and what doesn’t. You might find it ironic that I’ve never been much of an exercise person. With a filled schedule most of my days, however, I realize how important meditation and exercise are for my physical, emotional, mental and spiritual body.

I’m not the most limber person in the world, so I tend to do what works for my body; I take long walks on the beach and also for the last year, I’ve been using my Cell Rejuvenation System by Vita-Life®. I feel so refreshed, revitalized and sleep like a baby. I feel stronger. I have increased movement and leg and back flexibility. My hips and shoulders also have become much less painful, if no pain at all! And I’m so much more “balanced” (pun intended).

With so much chaos, commotion and noise in our outer world, meditation calms my mind, grounds and allows me to hear that “still small voice” deep within. Meditation has also allowed me to be more fully present…as they say “Being in the moment.” It has given me a sense of relaxation, peace and energy. Moreover, meditation has helped me focus and removes stress, fears and worries.

As you have heard said…“If you don’t use it, you lose it!” Spring is a time to restart and refresh and become a better YOU. To maintain your physical strength, consider finding a mind and body exercise program that works for your lifestyle and body type. Connect with a trainer or a buddy to workout with and to keep you going (with summer not too far behind). If you are pressed for time, buy a video or join a class that fits into your work and life schedule.

Find a regimen that fits your style. Don’t wait another minute. Vow and resolve to get leaner, stronger, more limber and access new (inner) parts of yourself. I promise you will get a great body, health benefits and a real mental boost.

And to continue taking your life to the next level…if you haven’t already registered for the premier and incomparable 4th Annual Work-Life Balance Educational Conference For Businesswomen, scheduled for April 23, 2008, go online to www.balancemagazine.com or call our office at (954) 382-4325 to register. Last year this conference was sold-out early!

Make a decision today to expand your mind and nourish your soul by attending with 1,500 other businesswomen. Gain practical work-life knowledge, build life-long relationships and draw inspiration from our distinguished international speakers. Keynote speakers include five-time Grammy winner, Naomi Judd, author and Paralympics downhill skier, Bonnie St.

John and inspirational speaker and author Janet Bray Attwood. Our panel includes six dynamic leading women business leaders whom will be asked powerful and direct questions, moderated again this year by Business Editor for The Miami Herald, Cindy Krisher Goodman.

We will also be giving away another five scholarships to deserving businesswomen. Here are a few quotes from what attendees shared with us from last year’s conference: “There’s no conference that does a better job to empower women!” “The business connections I’ve made have made a substantial impact to my bottom line.” “I was able to immediately use the countless tools in my personal and professional life.” “An event every woman should attend!” So, if you haven’t yet registered, register today!!! I promise, this event will give you the edge for becoming a better YOU.

Be (e) the most amazing woman you can be(e)
