Dear Customers, Now that the summer has kicked into high gear, thoughts of travel and vacation are on our minds. We at LiveRight with ShopRite™ would like to offer some timely tips for your family before you hit the road.

Beach patrol. Summer fun can quickly give way to unexpected health issues. Maintaining a healthy routine can be the key to making the most of your vacation. So get inspired by our article “How to Stay Healthy on the Road” on page 5.

Exercise and asthma. Did you know exercise is a common trigger for asthma attacks? Whether you choose to swim in the ocean or bicycle on the boardwalk, these hot and humid summer days can take a toll on you physically. On page 7, you’ll learn how to recognize and treat exercise-induced asthma.

Save your skin. Turn to page 34 to learn about soothing herbs that can relieve summertime skin issues, from sunburn to dry skin.

ShopRite (or its full name ShopRite Supermarkets) is a retailers' cooperative (co-op) chain of supermarkets in the Northeastern United States, in the states of New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Based in Elizabeth, New Jersey, ShopRite consists of 43 individually owned and operated affiliates with over 200 stores, all under its corporate and distribution arm, Wakefern Food Corporation.

In recent years ShopRite has renovated, expanded or totally rebuilt many of its older stores, as well as adding new ones. Most stores are larger than before with improved facilities. Some of the older ShopRite stores date back to the 1950s and 1960s. Examples of a newly built giant ShopRite can be found in Wharton, New Jersey, opened in 2001, and a rebuilt one in nearby Succasunna. Recently, a new ShopRite location was opened in Lodi, New Jersey.

Some ShopRite slogans have been "Hey mom, what's for dinner? ShopRite has the answer!", "ShopRite does it Right", "ShopRite and Always Save!", and their current "Always Fresh and Always for Less." ShopRite also uses the slogan "This is Your Neighborhood...This is Your ShopRite" when promoting and supporting community events. ShopRite is also known for its yearly Can-Can Sale, held every January since 1971, and in July 2002 introduced the Summer Can-Can Sale. (From Wikipedia)
