Currently, the Santa Monica Daily Press is the only daily newspaper in circulation in Santa Monica, California. The Daily Press has a circulation of 19,000 and a readership of 33,600.

Owned and operated by Santa Monica residents, the Daily Press strives to be a driving force in affecting change within the community, as well as serving as a watchdog on local government and providing a forum for people to participate in local civics.

As the only daily newspaper in Santa Monica, the Daily Press covers issues most important to its residents, including education, crime, business, the environment, politics, government and much more.

We're members of the Associated Press, the National Newspaper Association, the California Newspaper Association and the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce.

Our mission is to inform and educate our readers about issues that affect the quality of life and business in Santa Monica. We also hope to provide a forum where people can engage in debate, further connecting one another through public dialogue.
