In 2004, the magazine's website was awarded "Best Magazine Website" by the Web Marketing Association.

The bimonthly magazine is published in Houston, Texas.

Saudi Aramco World is  to increase cross-cultural understanding. The bimonthly magazine's mission is to broaden knowledge of the culture of the Arab and Muslim worlds and the history, geography and economy of Saudi Arabia. Saudi Aramco World is distributed without charge, upon request, to interested readers worldwide.
