I am pleased to say the magazine is creating a buzz in our community! With the responsibility of publishing a magazine comes the realization that you control what does or does not go to print in your publication. I will not take lightly the people who, day in and day out, are out there making a difference in our community, and I will not forget the purpose with which this magazine was created. In my fi rst issue I wrote: “In fact, it is my eternal devotion to the organizations and individuals that enrich our community that has inspired my latest endeavor, Social Affairs. We will spotlight organizations and individuals that are making a difference in some way, whether through charity or sheer innovation. Concurrently, articles on travel, design, health and beauty will speak to the interest of the individuals who grace our pages, as well as those fascinated by leadership and luxury. I aspire o make all of you look beautiful in the pages of Social Affairs, and I really hope that all of you will enjoy reading the magazine as much I enjoyed pulling it off.” I am extremely grateful of the accomplishments Social Affairs in its fi rst two (three) issues, and I thank everyone who has been in some way a part of it. If you like the magazine, then I have done what I started out to do. I hope that the spirit of philanthropy and community is always visible through Social Affairs. Norma A.
