These pages are filled with the names of the men and women, and boys and girls, who have risen to the top of the American game for more than one and a quarter centuries.

The Online Yearbook also contains full results of team events such as the Davis Cup and Fed Cup, as well as the Olympic Games and current and past USTA Award winners.

Also included are a full compilation of amateur championships such as the National Public Parks Championships, as well as international team events, junior results in tournaments ranging from the USTA National Boys’ and Girls’ 18 Championships to the Orange Bowl, and wheelchair results from the US Open and Paralympic Games.

The latest USTA adult, senior, junior, family, wheelchair and sectional rankings are also available right here.

A Message from the Chairman of the Board and President

As we begin 2008 we can’t help but reflect on the fact that last year was a particularly eventful and exciting one for tennis and for the USTA. On every level, from tennis’ grass roots to its grandest showcase—the US Open—the stories written in 2007 were stories of success. It was a year of milestones, a year of re-writing records. The resurgent enthusiasm for tennis has been infectious and invigorating. As a leader in the mission to promote and develop the growth of tennis in this country, the USTA can—and should—be particularly proud of the fact that tennis is again on the rise in the United States.

The annual participation survey indicates that more than 25 million Americans are now playing tennis, and shows that our sport has enjoyed the fastest-growing participation of any major sport since 2000. That increase in participation has sparked the best four consecutive years of growth for tennis industry sales since the boom years of the 1970s. Last year, the USTA signed on its 700,000th member—and membership now stands at more than 725,000, an-all time high.  ...
