USA Archery Magazine, Summer 2007

Magazine - USA Archery Magazine

USA Archery Magazine, Summer 2007USA Archery Magazine is published by USA Archery, National Governing Body for the Sport of Archery.

FROM THE PRESIDENT'S DESK

These are exciting times for archery. Congratulations to all of our archers competing at home and abroad this summer!

The 2007 World Championships are over and the Pan American Games 9at least the Archery part) are about to begin. The International Olympic Committee has just announced the formation of a Youth Olympics to be conducted in even-numbered years alternating with the quadrennial Olympic Games. This presents new challenges and opportunities for our young people and their coaches.

At this writing, I am preparing to go to the 2008 National Target Championship in Colorado Springs, and am looking forward to seeing many of you there, renewing old friendships and meeting new friends as well.

Yours for the love of archery,
Jane Johnson, Interim President
